Renowned gospel artist Nacee emerged as the undisputed star of the Praise Achievements Awards 2024, held on November 24 at the Perez Dome. The event, dedicated to honoring outstanding contributions to Christian music and media, saw Nacee clinch the highly coveted Artiste of the Year.
Known for his lyrical depth and powerful delivery, Nacee’s dominance at the awards was underscored by his wins for Song of the Year, Most Engaged Song of the Year, Male Artiste of the Year, and the top honor, Artiste of the Year. Nacee, fended off fierce competition from the likes of Diana Hamilton, Joe Mettle, MOG Music, Piesie Esther, Celestine Donkor, Joyce Blessing, Kofi Owusu Peprah, Perez Musik, Mabel Okyere, Lordina the Soprano and Scott Evans. His chart-topping songs and consistent engagement with his audience have cemented his place as a leading figure in Ghana’s gospel music scene.
Speaking after his victories, Nacee expressed his gratitude to God, his fans, and his team. In his speech, the award winner reminded Christians “Don’t forget to always say thank you to God” he said.
The musician has had a remarkable year, with his songs resonating widely across various platforms. Tracks like Aseda have not only inspired worship but also captivated audiences with their artistry. Till date Aseda has raked in over 11 million views on youtube.
