The Independence Square in Accra came alive on Friday, November 29, as thousands gathered for Agromonti Rhythms of Africa, a gospel event headlined and organized by the internationally acclaimed gospel minister, Dr. Sonnie Badu.

Produced by Silicon House Productions, Agromonti Rhythms of Africa brought together top gospel artistes with one purpose; to bring Christians together to praise the name of the LORD and for Ghana as the elections are set to take place on December 7, 2024.

Renowned for his spirit filled music such as Wonder GOD, Imani, Phidukulu and Rain, multi award-winning artist, Dr. Sonnie Badu over the course of his career has inspired countless souls through his ministry. The event was especially significant marking the first anniversary of a life-altering accident that resulted in the loss of two toes and required surgery.. Despite these challenges, Dr. Badu demonstrated unwavering faith by organizing this massive Christian concert, entirely free of charge. In an act of generosity, he provided free transportation for attendees traveling from outside Accra.

Joining Dr. Badu were a host of celebrated gospel artists, each bringing their unique style to the stage. Empress Gifty captivated the audience with electrifying praise, the legendary Tagoe Sisters and Ceccy Twum enchanted the crowd with their harmonious melodies, and urban gospel pioneer Cwesi Oteng alongside worship leader Siisi Baidoo uplifted spirits with moving performances.

SP Kofi Sarpong, Broda Sammy, Perez Muzik, and Bethel Revival Choir also provided unforgettable ministrations, leaving the audience in awe with their heavenly melodies. International gospel sensation Tamika Patton added an extra dimension of grace to the event. Rising stars such as Israel Ofori, EL Seer, TM Cube, TY Crew, and BB Sterling also made their mark, showcasing the diversity and depth of Ghana’s gospel music scene.
