The Encounter 3.0, a powerful Christian gathering, took place on March 16, 2025, at Christ Bliss Church in Teshie, Accra. Organized by Isaac Game Mawulorm, the third edition of this highly anticipated event carried the theme My Fortress and drew hundreds of believers together in an atmosphere of worship, praise, and deep spiritual encounters.
In an exclusive interview with Christian News Anchor Yeboah Edwin Takyi, Isaac Game Mawulorm shared the inspiring journey of The Encounter. He revealed that the event was never originally intended to be a concert but started as a personal birthday celebration. However, over time, it transformed into a full-fledged gathering of Christian believers seeking to glorify the name of the Lord. Now, The Encounter has grown into a movement, drawing worshippers from different walks of life who come together for a divine experience.
This year’s edition featured renowned gospel artistes, including Omari Kissi Jnr and Carl Clottey, and was hosted by the dynamic Psalm One. Each minister brought their unique touch to the event, setting the stage for an unforgettable night of worship. Omari Kissi Jnr’s powerful ministration was nothing short of supernatural, as his deep connection with the Holy Spirit created an atmosphere where attendees could tangibly feel the presence of God. The congregation was moved to worship as his performance shifted the atmosphere into one of divine encounter.
Other remarkable performances included the energetic praise session led by The Enase Crew and the melodious worship of Abednego Nii Saban. The event also showcased the spoken word artistry of Albert Arden, whose poetic delivery captivated the audience and reinforced the event’s theme of God as our fortress.
The climax of the night was the powerful sermon delivered by Prophet Maxwell Light. With conviction and passion, he reminded believers of the importance of spiritual hunger and the need to feed on God’s word, describing it as food, milk, water, and wine for the soul. He passionately urged attendees to cultivate an intimate relationship with God, warning against lukewarm faith and emphasizing the urgency of staying spiritually prepared as the rapture draws near.
The Encounter 3.0 has once again set a high standard for spiritual gatherings in Ghana, leaving many eager for the next edition. As anticipation builds, one thing remains certain—The Encounter continues to be a transformative experience that draws people closer to God, reinforcing their faith and igniting a deeper passion for worship.
