NIGERIAN GOSPEL SINGER, ADA EHI, SETS AFRICAN RECORD
Nigerian Gospel musician, Ada Ogochukwu Ehi popularly known as Ada Ehi has achieved a major African milestone by becoming only the 2nd gospel artiste to hit 100 million streams on Youtube with her song “Only You Jesus”.

The song which is currently right behind fellow Nigerian gospel singer Sinach’s “Way Maker” in views, has become a worldwide Gospel jam with the song being sung across the globe. The song which was released in 2016 is one dear to the singer's heart. In an interview on SelahAfrik, the artiste revealed that the song is not one she just scripted. According to her, she received inspiration for this song during a period when her husband and she were going through a tough patch in their lives.
“A few years back my husband and I went through one of the most difficult times of our lives. Men sought to make themselves GOD. They tried to humiliate and make an innocent man guilty not because he did but because they could! But for Jesus, we could have been broken and disgraced. We turn to the only one we had, JESUS”, she said.
The artiste who began her career with Loveworld Records owned by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome in 2019, has so far released 3 albums. Her music has provided her with the opportunity to perform in several programs around the world including Europe, America, and several African countries.
