PASTOR AND CONGREGATION ROBBED AT GUNPOINT DURING SERVICE

The head pastor of the Leaders of Tomorrow International Ministries, Bishop Lamor Whitehead and his congregation were robbed at gun point during his service on Sunday, 24th July 2022.

The attack according to him, which was carried out by 3 or 4 armed black men in masks, took place around 11:14am at their church in Brookyn, USA. The gunmen barged into the church with their arms and ordered all members to lie on the ground before one of them moved to the stage where the pastor lay, taking from him all his jewellery as well as those on his members and family. The total cost of all the jewellery taken from him is estimated to be close to 1 million dollars.

The robbers however during their attack did not notice there were cameras planted in the church. The cameras were able to capture the whole event as it happened, however since they were in masks, their identities were still hidden.

In reaction to the attack, Bishop Whitehead expressed his pain and that of his family and the congregation about the attack.

"As I was preaching, I seen three to four armed men come in. I didn't know if they just wanted to shoot the church up or were just coming for a robbery. And they were all black men. They had masks, and they came in, and they took all of my wife's jewelry and all of my jewelry,The women and children that were in my church, my daughter, she's traumatized. Right now, she's still not even talking because of that experience. They had the gun in my 8-month-old's face. The women of my ministry, my wife, everybody is traumatized,"
