SUPREME COURT TO RULE ON FREEDOM TO PRAY CASE

The Supreme Court of America is set to rule on the freedom to pray case between Bremerton High School, Washington and Mr. Joseph Kennedy.

The Bremerton High School, Washington, in 2015 dismissed their assistant rugby coach, Mr. Joseph Kennedy for praying on the 50-yard rugby field which according to them is against the Supreme Court ruling on the Engle vs Vitale (1962) case. The ruling states that school sponsored prayer in public schools violated the individual rights of others of different religions which is engraved in the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment.
